Aquatic and DMI Therapy Intensive Collaboration: Rise and Miracles in Motion
We are thrilled to be offering this collaborative intensive down the Jersey shore this summer. Renee, from Miracles in Motion PT, and Nicole first met years ago at a DMI course, and have stayed close ever since! The treatment styles and values at Miracles in Motion and Rise Pediatric Intensive Therapy are very similar, and we've been in talks about working together and putting together an aqua/DMI intensive for over a year. With Renee's love of the water, her years of experience providing adaptive surfing and her beautiful property on the river including a large pool, we knew this would be an amazing opportunity! She is generously offering her home in Oceanport, NJ which will give us a unique opportunity to offer specialized therapy services in a comfortable and inviting environment while pushing your children towards their goals.
When: Monday July 20th-Friday July 24th, with two one hour sessions each day, totaling 10 sessions (1 hour of DMI and 1 hour of aqua therapy each day)
Who: Your child should be under 40 lbs, have emerging head control and be comfortable in a pool (this is important!). If your child does not meet this criteria but you are confident they may be able to participate, please email us separately.
